DILEMMA: Mike Trout's Health at Risk as Angels' Center Fielder | Is He Better in the Field Than DH?

The Los Angeles Angels face a pivotal decision: should Mike Trout continue in center field for 2026, or shift to DH to optimize his health? Hosts Jon and Mike Frisch, the Super Halo Bros., debate Trout’s future role, analyzing Perry Minasian’s vague offseason remarks, Trout’s swing issues, and how DH duties affect his performance. Is it time to unleash Nelson Rada or Bryce Teodosio in center as the Angels chase lineup consistency? The episode also spotlights José Soriano’s dramatic home-road splits and the urgent need for pitching adjustments ahead of the new season. Could trade rumors for Luis Severino reshape the rotation, and what would the cost be for a controllable starter? Key topics include Angels' defensive woes, lineup construction, and strategic upgrades as the team prepares for a 2026 playoff push. Will the Angels’ front office finally commit to a plan, and can Trout reclaim his MVP form?
