RANKINGS OUTRAGE: Miami Takes TOP SPOT but Wake Forest SLIGHTED by LOW Ranking

Miami Hurricanes claim the No. 1 spot in the College Football Playoff Committee rankings, but is Wake Forest being unfairly overlooked at 16th? Heated reactions fly as the show dissects Miami’s resume and Wake Forest’s dominant stretch, questioning whether the Deacons’ resume holds up against teams like Texas Tech, Indiana, and LSU.

The conversation centered on the playoff hopes of both Miami and Wake Forest, examining the implications of a pivotal Miami-Notre Dame clash and what it takes for either ACC contender to secure a playoff berth. Several points were raised, including the impact of conference reputation, the logic behind the CFP rankings, and how upcoming SEC battles may reshape the postseason landscape. The discussion also explored Russell Wilson’s surprise interview for the NC State coaching job and the challenges ACC teams face in building national respect. Can Miami handle business to boost the ACC’s standing?
