76ERS POSTCAST: Bench Comes ALIVE as Sixers beat the Jazz, 126-122
The Philadelphia 76ers beat the Utah Jazz 126-122 Sunday night thanks to a dominant performance from the Sixers bench! In total the Sixers reserves scored 78 points in the win second most bench points in franchise history. Segment 1: Player of the Game: Adem Bona, anytime you record career highs in points rebounds and blocks you get the “player of the game” honor … Turning Point: Quentin Grimes knocked down a three at the 5:36 mark of the second quarter that added to the Sixers long 32 to 8 run and help them build a 51 to 42 lead and the Sixers were off and running after that. Segment 2: What Will You Be Talking About Tomorrow: Most want to see the Sixers lose as many games as possible down the stretch to lock up that top six pick in the upcoming NBA draft, however it was still good to see a young player like Adem Bona have a career night while Quentin Grimes continues to produce for this Sixers team. Also 78 bench points is INSANE!!!!
