49ERS SQUAD SHOW: HUMBLED IN HOUSTON as 49ers Fall to Texans
The San Francisco 49ers' smorgasbord of injuries finally caught up to them today as they fell to the Houston Texans 26-15. CJ Stroud carved up the secondary for over 300 passing yards, but it was the lack of pass rush that really allowed the Houston Texans offense to run wild, especially on third down. The San Francisco 49ers defense allowed the Texans to convert on 9-16 third down opportunities, leading to a dominant 41 minutes of possession for the Houston Texans in this one. With the offense only on the field for 18 minutes today, the San Francisco 49ers offense couldn't keep pace.
