Adrian Barich (Barra): They've Got Oscar The Grouch Running Around

Brisbane is officially title town after sweeping the AFL, NRL, NRLW and State of Origin, with the Broncos led by 23-year-old Reece Walsh beating the Storm. Back in Perth, the Dockers Club Champion Awards saw an emotional farewell for Nat Fyfe and Sonny Walters, with Barra calling Fyfe equal to Pavlich as the club’s greatest despite never winning a premiership; Caleb Serong claimed his third straight Doig Medal over Andy Brayshaw, while Patrick Voss was named Best Clubman. Meanwhile, 60,000 packed Optus for the Bledisloe Cup where the All Blacks’ Haka thrilled before handing the Wallabies an 11th straight defeat — Australia hasn’t held the trophy since 2002, 23 years ago.
