Offcuts - The Nom Noms Are *Temporarily Gone, Plus Ones Are Banned & The Enhanced ‘Drug’ Olympics

Hey Lifers! Welcome back to your weekend treat.

The nom nom nom discourse is real, it is divisive, and the feedback has been received. Laura is personally victimised. We will poll you.

Then we get into it:

• Taylor Swift is getting married and there’s plus one drama. We ask if wedding guests have a right to feel hurt when their partner doesn't make the cut?
• A woman on TikTok cried on camera because 39 children took over the pool and hot tub at her hotel; a hotel she specifically chose for the pool and hot tub.
• You can hire a woman for $500 to turn up to your funeral. It’s petty, but it’s also impactful.
• The Enhanced Games just wrapped up in Las Vegas. We speak about legal doping, $1 million prize pools, and Aussie Olympic swimmer James Magnussen throwing himself back in a decade after his Olympic career ended. Did anyone break any records? Is the IOC being petty? Should the Olympics just pay their athletes more? We get into all of it.
