Mirza Muhammad Uzair Akbar is a well-known respected scholar and a prominent leader in the Muslim community of Queensland. He has been the appointed Imam for over two decades in the century-old Holland Park mosque located in the beautiful suburbs of Brisbane. He is the President of the Councils of Imam Queensland (CIQ) and sits on the board of many not-for-profits organisations, youth clubs, and Islamic Finance Organisations in Australia.
