#400 Alex Proctor - Quitting His Job to Go All In and Take 2nd at Kodiak 100 + Crewing Mark Dowdle at Big’s Backyard

On this episode, the boys had special guest Alex Proctor on the pod! Alex recently quit his job to go all in on going pro in ultra running and it has been paying off in a big way! He has set several course records and recently finished 2nd at the Kodiak 100, only losing to Cody Poskin (friend of the pod) and beating out Max Joliffe!

Alex also just crewed Mark Dowdle and had many epic stories from doing that, including driving Theo Von’s cybertruck (lol). It was interesting to hear behind the scenes of how Mark is throughout a backyard ultra, especially from the lense of someone who understands ultra running at the highest level!
