EP 252 Boyz in tha Hood. William Noguera & Robert VW Kidd

On this episode we discuss the early days in La Puente California. Buggs Buddies founding member William Noguera comes on the podcast with Robert Vw Kidd and they discuss the late 70s early 80s VW seen in Southern California. With a heavy Latin influence the origins of the LA style seems to begin here. You'll get to hear some wild stories of what it was like being a member of Bug's buddies what was the story on all the cars and what "Combey" means. It was a wild time for young teenagers in La Puente California. Some of these stories involve the police teenage dance clubs in a lot of Porsche alloys. Turns out a lot of these cars were stolen. That's why it's called Boyz in tha Hood
