PREMIERE : Recut - Hey Jack

Recut returns with Picture About You, a compelling four-track EP blending the heritage of house music, acid textures, and underground electronic culture into a contemporary vision for today’s dancefloors. The title track, Picture About You, reflects Recut’s artistic identity through the lens of his personal history and family roots. The story draws inspiration from his uncle, Mr. Steve, who in 1975 founded one of the pioneering independent radio stations in Southern Italy. Rooted in that era’s spirit of discovery, disco culture, and early Italian clubbing, the track unfolds through a hypnotic and emotional groove where old-school character meets a modern perspective. Across the rest of the release, Recut expands his sonic universe: Hey Jack delivers a relentless peak-time energy driven by unstoppable grooves and acid lines; Subwave dives into a deeper dimension with massive low-end pressure and explosive dynamics; and Neon Flux closes the project with a fierce, electric intensity designed to leave a lasting impression. Driven by evolving patterns, deep basslines, and timeless club energy, Picture About You explores the universal dialogue between the DJ, the sound system, and the crowd, delivering an immersive release built for both late-night listening and peak club moments.
