Veteran Brothers Tackle Atlantic & Aconcagua
Two army veteran brothers, Alan and Garry Fortuin, are embarking on extraordinary challenges in their sixties. Alan, 66, will row solo across the Atlantic Ocean, aiming to reach Antigua in 60 days, while Garry, 63, will climb Aconcagua, the highest mountain in the Americas. Both brothers, originally from Leicester, are self-funded and have no plans to contact each other during their separate adventures. Alan has raised funds for The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, showcasing their resilience and determination. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network. Every city.
