Robinson Centre: New Education Hub for Railway Engineers

The Robinson Centre, a new education facility at Great Central Railway in Leicestershire, has opened, aiming to train apprentice engineers and engage local schools in railway engineering. The center, funded by £280,000 from Loughborough Town Deal and £500,000 from Charnwood Borough Council, is located at the locomotive repair works and includes a refurbished locomotive shed. The project is crucial for preserving traditional engineering skills and inspiring young people to carry on the railway heritage. DNN | The Daily News Now!
