Nicky Smith Leaves Leicester Tigers

Welsh rugby star Nicky Smith, a key player for Leicester Tigers, will leave the club at the end of the 2025-2026 season. Despite being offered a new contract, Smith has chosen to pursue a longer-term offer elsewhere. He has made 32 appearances for the Tigers, with 8 this season, and is a great player and character, according to head coach Geoff Parling. Smiths departure follows that of England lock George Martin, who moved to Saracens. More player announcements are expected soon. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network.
