New Parking Scheme Launches in Leicester

Starting November seventeenth, Leicesters new Stoneygate residents parking scheme will launch, targeting streets off Evington Road. The initial two-week advisory period will issue warning notices, followed by fixed penalty notices from December first. Over twenty streets, including Herschell Street and Mundella Street, will be included. Resident permits cost £35 per year, business permits range from £100-£150, and visitor permits are £40 per year or £2 for 24 hours. Blue badge holders are exempt.
