Leicester vs Leinster: Watson's Prediction

Leicester Rugby faces a daunting task this Friday against Leinster in the Investec Champions Cup. After a loss last weekend, theyre underdogs at home. Former Tigers winger Anthony Watson believes Leicester thrives under pressure. To pull off an upset, they need to dominate upfront, with key players like Joe Heyes, Nicky Smith, Freddie Steward, and possibly James OConnor returning. The home crowd at Welford Road is also crucial. Meanwhile, Leinster, who won their opening match, could see a first start for new All Black signing Rieko Ioane, a player Watson describes as one of his favorites to watch. This potential matchup adds to the excitement of what promises to be a thrilling encounter. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network. Every city. Every story. AI powered.
