Leicester’s Dumping Ground Crisis | Leicester News

Leicester’s Linkway Gardens estate is turning into a dumping ground—with fridges, doors, and even bathtubs being tossed out for months. Residents are fed up, especially since the car park’s lack of oversight makes it easy for trash to pile up. A local cleanup crew works every first Sunday, but big items keep piling back in, sparking suspicions that “rogue builders” are using the mess as an excuse to dump more. The council’s investigating, working with landowners to clear private property while prioritizing public road waste. It’s a battle for dignity—and pride—in their own neighborhood.
