Heatwave Hits South This Weekend | Leicester News

Get ready for a scorcher — a major heatwave is brewing, with the East Midlands hitting 27°C starting Sept 24, spreading to London, SW England, and even Yorkshire. Temperatures climb through Friday, peaking at 29°C in places like Somerset and South London, with the weekend keeping it hot across the SE and even parts of the North. While a full heatwave requires three straight days above 26-28°C, this forecast signals dangerously warm days are coming for the end of September.
