Community Honors Detective & Friend with Football Match

The family of Leicestershire police detective Hardip Singh Dayal raised over £8,800 for charity in a memorial football match honoring Hardip and his friend Johnny Singh Bangh. The match, held in November, saw a veteran team compete against Hardips colleagues, bringing together the community that knew and respected them. The funds will be split between Loros hospice, where Hardip spent his final days, and the British Heart Foundation, as Johnny died from a heart attack. DNN | The Daily News Now!
