Church Shelter Offers Winter Haven for Homeless

A new night shelter, funded by government money, opens in Leicester to provide emergency accommodation for homeless individuals this winter. The shelter, run by One Roof charity, offers twenty beds nightly and additional support to help guests find stable housing. The exact location remains undisclosed for operational reasons, but councils and partner agencies can refer individuals directly. The city council also received a one-time payment to hire additional outreach workers and improve temporary accommodation facilities. DNN | The Daily News Now!
