Castle Donington Drag Race Crackdown | Leicester News

Police shut down a dangerous illegal drag race in Castle Donington, fining and impounding a driver who blocked the road—just one of many expected penalties as authorities roll out video evidence and crackdowns. This isn’t the first time the town’s faced car cruising chaos, including a notorious Starbucks lot incident that led to new nighttime barriers. Officers warn these events are deadly, citing real injuries, and despite past efforts to partner with racetracks, reckless behavior continues. Leicestershire Police are sending a clear message: no more tolerance for unsafe, anti-social driving on public roads.
