Bonus: Patroncast No. 82 - Sneak Peek

We're on holiday break at the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast, so no new episode this week-- but we didn't want to leave you dry on fantasy content! So, here's our gift to you: a partial helping of December's nearly two-and-a-half hour bonus Patroncast episode! Every month, Elan and Brian record a patrons-only bonus episode where we let our proverbial hair down, and answer any and all questions asked by the patrons over the course of the last month-- about fantasy hockey, team management, strategy tips, and life in general. It's more casual and conversational than our usual episodes, with no questions out of bounds. This month, our Patroncast included: Is there value to be found on the Columbus roster? Is Chandler Stephenson Actually Good? Does Tyson Barrie suck? Ryan Hartman vs. Bo Horvat Amongst all players rostered in 80% leagues or more, who is the one we'd least want to have on our own teams? Is it better to be patient or impatient as a fantasy hockey manager? Trading tips and tricks Do our spouses even care at all about fantasy hockey? Revisiting takes on Kraken forwards Where did Elan and Brian meet, and how did Keeping Karlsson begin? Who is the next breakout fantasy player? What's the best arena we've seen a game in? Which California team has the most exciting young core? When's the right time in a fantasy week to start looking ahead to the next week's matchup? What's our strategy for approaching a long matchup with not a lot of adds available? How could money leagues be managed with all the uncertainty with game postponements and player health? Would we ever consider making KKUPFL a roto league? Brian's pasta tiers Elan's Survivor Season 41 analysis ..and more! We hope you've had a good holiday time, and we're excited to be back with our next regular episode on Jan. 3, 2022. Happy new year! Learn more about your ad choices.
