The Gate with Special Guest Jason Murphy

The Summer of 1987 series continues on and this week heads to a dark place. A Canadian suburb? ...yes

Modern Rogue's Jason Murphy joins us for a deep dive into The Gate. The Gate is the answer to every heavy metal horror movie that painted metal as the catalyst for evil. Because this time, metal saves the day! It has as much heart as an Amblin film, astoundingly creepy special effects, and managed to trounce Ishtar at the box office--released the same weekend--despite having a fraction of the budget.

All this plus, we chat about what Larry Cohen's Doctor Strange would have looked like, get alarmingly comfortable with Double Team, and make some very exciting show-related announcements.

You got ears? We got demons! Enjoy!
