Hidden Details in Genesis & The Gospel of Nicodemus

Ancient Roots of Life Episode 48

Many of the passages Christians know by heart sound very different when read from the Septuagint (LXX). In this episode JT and Josh continue their study through Scripture by examining: David's harsh prayers against his enemies Did David prophetically speak in the voice of Christ? Loving your enemies vs. God's judgment The Gospel of Nicodemus (Acts of Pilate) Genesis in the Septuagint The Firmament Paradise in Eden Noah and the clean animals Nimrod and the first kingdoms The Tower of Babel The Table of Nations The mystery of Genesis 6 Sons of God vs. Sethite theory Ancient geography Biblical chronology

If you've never compared the Septuagint to modern Bible translations, you may be surprised by what you find.
