Why Don't We Live Around a Red Sun? Featuring Prof. David Kipping from Cool Worlds
Should our Sun be Red?David Kipping of Cool Worlds joins John Michael Godier to discuss a few of his recent papers and videos. The Red Sky Paradox asks why we do not orbit a red sun when most stars in the Universe are red dwarfs. Also, "black swans" are one off events that capture our attention and imagination, these transient signals are unique because they represent something new in the universe. The most famous one being the 1977 Wow! Signal discovered by Dr. Jerry Ehman from observations by the Big Ear Radio Telescope.Link:Cool Worlds https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGHZpIpAWJQ-Jy_CeCdXhMAThe Red Sky Paradox https://youtu.be/uZRDONE4zngBlack Swans & The "Wow" Signal https://youtu.be/u9dQwsSc5NUKipping, D.
