**Join The Bible in a Year Devotional: The Jesus Thread**https://www.thejesuspeoplemovement.org/jesus-thread-signup **My New Book: Meek as a Mustang**https://www.thejesuspeoplemovement.org/meek In this powerful episode of The Jesus People Podcast, Ryan Miller sits down with Victor Marx, humanitarian, ministry leader, and gubernatorial candidate, for an extraordinary conversation about childhood trauma, faith, spiritual warfare, Christian humanitarian work, and standing against darkness. What happens when the very people who were supposed to protect you become the source of your deepest wounds? How do you overcome the lies of trauma and refuse to let your past define your future? And what does it actually cost to bring the light of Christ into some of the darkest places in the world? Victor shares his remarkable journey from a childhood marked by abuse, instability, and rejection to serving in the Marine Corps, conducting high-risk humanitarian missions, rescuing women from ISIS captivity, and confronting corruption and spiritual strongholds. He also opens up about his friendship with Charlie Kirk, the spiritual battle surrounding American culture and politics, and why Christians cannot afford to remain silent when truth, freedom, and human dignity are at stake. **Key Highlights:** • Childhood trauma, abuse, and overcoming the lies of the past • How faith in Jesus Christ can transform even the most broken lives • Why your trauma does not have to define your identity or destiny • PTSD, fear, resilience, and learning to live by faith rather than fear • Victor's experiences serving in combat zones and confronting ISIS • The reality and cost of Christian humanitarian work • Rescuing women from ISIS captivity and bringing hope to the persecuted • The corruption of humanitarian organizations and the importance of keeping your word • Biblical masculinity, controlled aggression, courage, and protecting others • Spiritual warfare, prayer, fasting, and confronting cultural strongholds • Victor's friendship with Charlie Kirk and the importance of bold Christian leadership • Why Christians should engage in government without compromising biblical convictions • Victor's vision for making Colorado affordable, safe, and accountable **RESOURCES MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE:** **Victor Marx's Ministry and Resources**https://victormarx.com/ **The Victim Marx Story:** Victor's testimony and documentary, available on YouTube. **Triggered and Triggered Too:** Resources and workbooks addressing trauma and helping people work toward freedom. **SUPPORT CHRIST-CENTERED COACHING** If you're struggling with trauma, fear, destructive patterns, addiction, or other challenges in life, you don't have to walk through them alone.
