Former Satanist helps Psychic find Jesus - Episode 31: The Jesus People Podcast: Jessica & Riaan

From New Age Deception to Freedom in Jesus In this powerful episode of The Jesus People Podcast, Jessica courageously shares how God led her out of psychic mediumship and New Age practices, and into the arms of Jesus. From ER scares and a “Bible Seller” book that warned of wolves in sheep’s clothing, to a life-changing confession and the choice to “burn the scrolls” (Acts 19:19) by deleting her podcast and socials, Jessica’s story is a raw, hope-filled roadmap for anyone tangled in spiritual counterfeits. With Ryan and Riaan (a former occult practitioner turned evangelist), we unpack familiar spirits, spiritual warfare, and how to test the spirits, and we pray protection and blessing over Jessica’s family and future. Key Highlights: The moment everything shifted: “You’ve been tricked.” Acts 19:19 today: deleting platforms as “burning the scrolls” Familiar spirits explained: why accuracy ≠ truth Testing the spirits: Scripture, love, and the “three witnesses” filter Religion vs. relationship: obedience > perfection; fight from victory Practical reply to old clients seeking readings—pointing to the Healer A prophetic encouragement over Jessica’s calling, writing, and family If you (or someone you love) are involved in psychics, astrology, tarot, crystals, Reiki, or enneagram confusion, and you’re hungry for truth, this testimony is for you. Jesus still frees, heals, and leads us into identity in Christ and freedom from deception.
