West Bank Clashes Mark Oct 7 Anniversary

Developments in the West Bank include settler attacks on Palestinian homes and vehicles, and a stone-throwing incident injuring five. The IDF is planning expanded operations to arrest individuals linked to terrorism. These events coincide with Israel commemorating the third anniversary of the October 7th attacks, with diplomatic missions worldwide holding events. Domestically, calls for accountability for the October 7th failures are intensifying, with figures like Michal Negri urging leadership responsibility. National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir called for dismantling the Palestinian Authority, while former IDF Chief Gadi Eisenkot criticized current government policies. MK Avigdor Liberman accused the government of funding Hamas through aid. A Knesset committee is addressing delays in prosecuting Hamas terrorists. Meanwhile, senior Israeli defense officials expressed concerns about potential Iranian missile miscalculation amid sanctions. In Italy, authorities expelled two men for assaulting a rabbi in Milan. Separately, a mother and daughter were apprehended in Namibia with suspected forged documents. Concerns also arise over potential US reassessment of Israel's Visa Waiver Program compliance.
