PA Postpones Elections Until 2027

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has again postponed the legislative elections until September 2027, citing Israeli obstacles and internal consensus, drawing sharp denials from Israel's Foreign Minister. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's criminal trial continues with former Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit testifying, while National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir released footage confronting terrorists who allegedly plotted his assassination. In regional news, Yemen's Houthis have reissued warnings to airlines regarding Saudi Arabian airports following a deadly attack on Riyadh. Also, a University of Arkansas professor fired for anti-Israel posts is suing to challenge a state law requiring universities to use the IHRA definition of antisemitism. We also mark a memorial in Argentina where 414 trees were planted to honor victims of the Nova festival massacre.
