Netanyahu Orders Overthrow of Iranian Regime

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has directed the IDF and Mossad to focus on overthrowing the Iranian regime, citing concerns over its nuclear ambitions and regional influence. In related developments, Iran has faced reports of explosions in its Qeshm region and the barring of a United Airlines pilot due to pro-regime social media activity, while Iran's Foreign Minister has warned the U.S. against escalating conflict. The U.S. Treasury has also imposed new sanctions on Iran's "shadow fleet." Meanwhile, IDF operations in Gaza resulted in the elimination of key Islamic Jihad and Hamas operatives. In the West Bank, detentions of volunteers aiding Palestinian farmers during the olive harvest have drawn strong criticism from New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, prompting a response from Israel's Consul-General. Domestically, Prime Minister Netanyahu has indicated his party's control over future defense appointments, and internationally, a maritime deal between Libya and Turkey is raising security concerns for Israel.
