Netanyahu Discusses Eliminating Iran's Regime with Trump

This episode of Israel Today: Ongoing War Report covers crucial developments in the conflict with Iran and its proxies. Prime Minister Netanyahu affirmed Israel's commitment to eliminating the Iranian regime and discussed this with President Trump, as reports suggest the US was once close to striking Iran. Senior Iranian officials, meanwhile, are reportedly prolonging talks to politically weaken President Trump ahead of US midterm elections, fearing renewed military action. In Gaza, the IDF and Shin Bet eliminated a Hamas operative involved in the October 7th massacre and the abduction of Shani Louk. A new study indicates American humanities doctoral students are more likely to hold anti-Jewish prejudice. Domestically, Prime Minister Netanyahu opposed the detention of Haredi draft dodgers, amid ongoing societal debate about military service and gender representation in the upcoming Knesset.
