Israel Today: Ongoing War Report - September 30, 2026, 11 AM Eastern

On today's Israel Today, we report on a dramatic mid-air incident aboard a Flydubai flight bound for Tel Aviv. Israeli passengers are being hailed as heroes for intervening when a pilot allegedly stabbed his co-pilot and attempted to crash the plane, an event described by officials as an 'attempted jihadist terror attack'. The incident has also sparked renewed debate over the safety of flying with foreign carriers. We also cover Iran’s indication that it has received an official US response regarding proposals to end the war, and look at how Israeli political parties are presenting their differing visions for the West Bank less than a month before elections. Plus, a look at Palestinian political developments in Gaza.
