Israel Today: Ongoing War Report - September 28, 2026, 04 PM Eastern

Eight US Marines were reportedly injured in an undisclosed Iranian missile strike in the Strait of Hormuz on September 14th, with the Pentagon's lack of immediate public disclosure coming under scrutiny. President Donald Trump stated the US is nearing victory in its war with Iran and is open to sanctions relief for nuclear progress. Meanwhile, Jordan's King Abdullah addressed the UN, criticizing Israel's occupation, a speech which a JPost.com report contextualized with Jordan's own history regarding the West Bank. Other news includes domestic political developments, regional diplomatic acknowledgments, and the ongoing Case 3000 submarine procurement inquiry.
