Israel Today: Ongoing War Report - September 22, 2026, 12 PM Eastern

On Israel Today: Ongoing War Report, we cover President Trump's stark ultimatum to Iran at the UN – a deal or annihilation – and his reiteration that Tehran will never obtain nuclear weapons. We also look at the strengthening regional air defense shield involving the U.S. and Israel, which has intercepted thousands of threats. Meanwhile, at the UN, Secretary-General Guterres condemned Hamas's October 7th attack while also criticizing Israel's offensive in Gaza. Jordan's King Abdullah echoed these criticisms, while Israeli Minister Ben-Gvir announced plans for voluntary emigration from Gaza and the West Bank. We also report on Russia's alleged disinformation campaign targeting the Uman pilgrimage, aiming to incite antisemitism, and significant arrests in Manchester and charges in Israel related to terrorism and extremist content.
