Israel Today: Ongoing War Report - September 19, 2026, 05 PM Eastern

Key developments today include Iran's reported efforts to bolster its regional influence by deploying radar systems and smuggling military equipment via Yemen's Houthi-controlled west coast, while also pressuring the Houthis to reject ceasefire talks with Saudi Arabia. The IDF conducted strikes in Gaza, killing Hamas commanders and resulting in at least three Palestinian deaths. In the West Bank, two suspects were arrested for arson. On the diplomatic front, President Trump confirmed ongoing US discussions with both Iran and Yemen's Houthis. Domestically, President Herzog granted a full pardon to Elor Azaria, and the IDF is increasing readiness for Yom Kippur.
