Key updates from Israel include the IDF's elimination of several senior Hamas commanders in Gaza, some with a history of involvement in hostage-holding operations. Tensions on the northern border remain high after a roadside bomb injured two soldiers, leading to Israeli airstrikes on Hezbollah infrastructure in Lebanon. Domestically, President Isaac Herzog has granted Elor Azaria a pardon ahead of the Yom Kippur holiday, amidst broader societal reflections on faith post-October 7th and IDF preparations for the solemn day. We also cover Iran's conditions for US talks and a new Texas curriculum affirming Israel's founding.
