Israel Today: Ongoing War Report - September 11, 2026, 01 PM Eastern

Reports indicate Iran-aligned Houthis have seized Yemen's port city of Mocha and are advancing towards the critical Bab el-Mandeb Strait, an operation allegedly guided by Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps. This development threatens global shipping routes and oil prices. Meanwhile, the U.S. is intensifying its campaign against Iran's financial networks, announcing new sanctions targeting entities supporting Iranian proxies and preparing to sanction a major bank. In Gaza, severe shortages of engine oil and spare parts are causing widespread power outages in hospitals and homes, jeopardizing patient lives amidst ongoing restrictions. We also report on a foiled smuggling attempt of weapons from Jordan into the West Bank.
