Israel Today: Ongoing War Report - October 4, 2026, 10 PM Eastern

The IDF is implementing a major strategic shift, preparing for surprise attacks on multiple fronts based on enemy capabilities, not intentions, following an internal review. We have details on the new doctrine. In Syria, IDF troops shot and killed a suspect approaching an Israeli military post in the buffer zone.
