Israel Today: Ongoing War Report - October 2, 2026, 11 PM Eastern

This episode of Israel Today: Ongoing War Report covers significant developments including widespread criticism of New York City's hate crime prevention plan for omitting the connection to Israel in its definition of antisemitism. We also examine the ongoing discourse around accusations of 'genocide' against Israel, with analysis suggesting these claims echo historical antisemitic libels and are used as political tools. On security, counterterrorism police in the UK have charged two Iranian nationals with plotting a terror attack targeting Yom Kippur, having obtained materials for an IED. Finally, US prosecutors have indicted several individuals, including Hamas operatives, in connection with an alleged fundraising scheme that collected over $626,000 from American donors.
