Israel Today: Ongoing War Report - October 1, 2026, 12 PM Eastern

The IDF has released a database identifying 170 individuals killed in Gaza as Hamas and Islamic Jihad operatives, countering claims they were civilian journalists. In aviation security, the attempted hijacking of a Flydubai flight by its co-pilot, who Prime Minister Netanyahu says was radicalized and suicidal, was thwarted by passengers. Separately, a new ADL report details the systemic exclusion and marginalization of Jewish and Israeli artists within American cultural institutions. Updates also include Iran's Revolutionary Guards action in Zahedan and former US President Donald Trump's comments on Prime Minister Netanyahu and the October 7th attack.
