Iran Deal Proposal and Israeli Election Race

Escalating tensions in the Persian Gulf headline today's report, with oil tankers struck by mines in the Strait of Hormuz, driving up energy prices as a third U.S. aircraft carrier deploys to the region. Diplomatic channels are active, including a reported U.S.-Iran proposal involving frozen funds for nuclear site access, and Pakistan's army chief visiting Tehran for mediation efforts. Domestically, an election poll shows Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar party ahead of Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud, with no clear majority bloc formed. Meanwhile, recent IDF arrests highlight ongoing debates over Haredi military service obligations and national security needs. We also bring you the Israeli Defense Minister's warning to Hezbollah and an overnight abduction incident in Khan Yunis, Gaza.
