Houthi Missile Strike Targets Yemeni Military Camp

Dozens are feared dead in Yemen following a Houthi missile strike on a military camp in Shabwa governorate, with the group claiming responsibility for the attack on what they called a "Saudi-backed" base. In Israeli politics, Benny Gantz announced he will not run in the upcoming October 27 elections, despite recent polling, vowing to continue efforts to form a national unity government. Meanwhile, Britain's foreign minister warned companies bidding on Israel's E1 settlement tenders that they risk "legal and reputational consequences," including potential sanctions. We also cover an internal Hamas document reportedly outlining plans to plant explosives near Gaza displaced-person camps, security forces seizing hundreds of kilograms of explosives belonging to Hezbollah in Lebanon, the ongoing dispute over independent journalist access to Gaza, the World Food Programme cutting aid, and new research on graduate student attitudes toward Israel and Jewish people.
