Abbas Postpones Palestinian Elections Amid Gaza Crisis

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has postponed legislative elections to September 2027, citing deteriorating conditions in Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem. In Gaza, convicted terrorist Ali al-Amoudi, released in a prisoner exchange, has reportedly risen to become Hamas's de facto leader. Domestically, a distinguished Bar-Ilan University mathematics professor is indicted for allegedly plotting a mass terror attack aimed at killing hundreds of Israeli Arabs. Additionally, ConnectEd has launched a new English-speaking online community for Jewish educators.
