Murph & Andy: ISU's New AD and Upset Saturday

Iowa State introduces new athletic director Jared Benko, and college football delivers one of the wildest Saturdays in history. Keith Murphy and Andy Fales break down Benko’s first public appearance, five of the AP Top 7 teams losing, and what’s next for Iowa and Iowa State. The guys react to Benko’s background in fundraising, NIL, and college athletics, plus his message about competing for Big 12 and national championships. They also discuss Jamie Pollard’s legacy, why Iowa State needed a fresh direction, and the financial challenges facing Cyclone Athletics. Plus, a look back at an unforgettable college football weekend, the biggest upsets and what the results mean for the national rankings. With Iowa and Iowa State both coming off bye weeks, Murph and Andy debate the Hawkeyes’ potential finish, Iowa State’s bowl hopes, and the upcoming schedule.
