The Path of Cheerfulness | Happiness Podcasts

Listen to episode 679 of the Inspirational Living podcast: The Path of Cheerfulness | Happiness Podcasts. Edited and adapted from Character Sketches for Boys and Girls by Henry Davenport Northrop.

Inspirational Podcast Excerpt: The influence that a cheerful person has on others is almost limitless. You probably have known people within whose company you felt uplifted, amiable and hopeful, equal to anything! I do not know a more enviable gift than the energy to sway others to good; to diffuse around others an atmosphere of cheerfulness, generosity, magnanimity. It is not a matter of great talent; nor entirely a matter of great energy; but rather of earnestness and honesty — a quiet, constant energy which is like soft rain gently penetrating the soil.
