On The Beat: Brackets and Spring Ball

With Thursday comes the latest edition of the InsideCarolina.com On The Beat Live! podcast with host Tommy Ashley joined by the esteemed panel of Greg Barnes, Gregory Hall and Kirstyn Clark to discuss Hubert Davis’s Tar Heels and Mack Brown’s third year foray into the beginnings of spring football practice. The basketball Heels remain fully entrenched on the NCAA Tournament bubble as they travel to NC State on Saturday before Senior Night in the Smith Center on Monday versus Syracuse. With the finale at Duke looming next weekend, are these next two absolute must wins for Carolina to get to the Dance? What does the ACC Tournament performance need to look like for the Heels to secure that Field of 68 berth? Next week also marks the start of spring football practice and judging from Mack Brown’s press conference earlier this week, Carolina Football is on notice from the head man that it’s time to put up or get out when it comes to coaches and performances expected. The IC crew discusses all this and much more in this episode!
