From Inside Carolina: A UNC athletics podcast Inside Carolina, North Carolina Tar Heels, North Carolina, North Carolina basketball, UNC basketball

As North Carolina's coaching search continues to evolve, Inside Carolina's Rob Harrington and Sean Moran join host Joey Powell to discuss Ben McCollum's potential as North Carolina's next coach. McCollum's success at Division 2 Northwest Missouri State propelled him to Drake and then Iowa and the IC crew highlights those successes as well as potential concerns as the level of play would ramp up at UNC.

Moran praises McCollum's coaching skills but notes the need for adaptability and effective recruiting while Harrington emphasizes the importance of McCollum's system-driven approach and early success to build credibility.

The panel discusses the potential for McCollum to succeed with the right support and the need for him to demonstrate success quickly, especially in recruiting and player development.
