Ward's Return: Colts Hope for Defensive Boost

Indianapolis Colts cornerback Charvarius Ward, known as Mooney, is working to regain his top form after dealing with two concussions this season. Despite showing Pro Bowl potential earlier in the year, these setbacks have been challenging for him. Ward recently returned to play after a month-long absence and expressed his determination to improve his technique daily. The Colts defense, which hoped to improve with the addition of star cornerback Sauce Gardner, has been impacted by overlapping injuries to key players like Ward and defensive tackle DeForest Buckner. Gardner himself was sidelined with a calf injury, putting more pressure on Ward. However, theres good news for the Colts defense as Buckner is expected to return to practice soon, and Gardner will not be placed on injured reserve, potentially returning to the field soon.
