Sauce Gardner Traded to Colts, Reunites with Colleague

On November seventh, the NFL witnessed a major trade shake-up as Sauce Gardner, a two-time All-Pro cornerback, was traded to the Indianapolis Colts. The Jets sent Gardner to Indianapolis in exchange for two first-round draft picks and wide receiver AD Mitchell. Gardner, who was caught off guard by the call from the Jets general manager, expressed his joy and relief about the new opportunity. He emphasized his loyalty to the team and his silent wish for an ideal situation. The trade reunites him with former college teammate Alec Pierce and fills the Colts need for a lockdown corner, as they push for a playoff spot. DNN | The Daily News Now!
