Sauce Gardner Not the Problem | Indianapolis Colts News

Colts’ defense crumbled against the Ravens, but blame doesn’t belong to Sauce Gardner. Despite being targeted sparingly and allowing just 12 yards, Gardner played within his game—shutting down his man and forcing quarterbacks to look elsewhere. The real issues? Charvarius Ward’s shaky performance, rookie safety A.J. Haulcy’s debut struggles, and Justin Walley getting exploited. Gardner’s elite play isn’t enough to carry a secondary in need of upgrades—especially with the Chiefs looming. If teammates step up, Gardner can thrive again.
