Pierce's Heel Injury Raising Flags | Indianapolis Colts News

Colts’ Alec Pierce’s return is in jeopardy after missing Thursday’s practice with a heel injury, raising questions for Sunday’s showdown against the Chiefs — despite showing up full-go Wednesday and putting up solid stats in his limited Week 1 role. His ankle/heel surgery recovery was expected to be lengthy, making his early return a win, but now his status is uncertain. Meanwhile, QB Anthony Richardson is back at full strength, and others like Ajiake and Allen are improving — offering some bright spots amid the concern.
